Trending International Training Event: Mexico City
The American Conference of Mayors invites municipal leaders and public officials to a three-day, intensive training event in Mexico City in April 2027. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical skills, share best practices, and network with experts and peers from across the region. The event will feature six parallel, 20-hour workshops led by top consultants and academics, with simultaneous interpretation available.
Program Overview & Call for Participants
This two-day event will focus on high-impact, actionable training. Participants will choose one of the six workshops to attend for the full 20 hours, with a mix of lectures, case studies, and hands-on activities.
- Date: April 16-18, 2027
- Location: Mexico City, Mexico
- Who Should Attend: Mayors, city managers, heads of departments, and public officials from municipalities and cities in Mexico and Latin America.
Registration & Fee
Program Price: $1,500 USD per participant. This fee covers all training materials, access to workshops and roundtables, simultaneous interpretation, and networking events.
How to Apply: To apply, participants must submit a brief statement of purpose (maximum 500 words) explaining why they want to attend and how they believe the training will benefit their municipality. A letter of support from the mayor or a senior municipal official is highly recommended. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
International Certificate
This International Training Program grants participants a prestigious international certificate endorsed by ACM and its affiliated academic institutions.
The certification is jointly supported by the University of New Mexico, New Mexico Tech, the University of Arizona, the University of San Diego, and Universidad Santander (Spain), reflecting a shared commitment to excellence in public-sector leadership and applied governance training.
