The Americas Conference of Mayors (ACM), constitutes as a national nonprofit association registered in the State of New Mexico, United States.

The organization, encompassing the Americas Conference of City/County Councilors (ACCC) as part of its broader institutional framework, brings together municipalities from across the Americas to promote collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of best practices in service of the public good.

Continental Annual Americas Conference

Summit, Conference and Expo 2027

Each year, the ACM organizes the Annual Summit and Americas Conference, bringing together mayors, city councilors, and municipal leaders from across the hemisphere, as well as a broad group of different stakeholders from different sectors, including non profit organizations, industries, chambers of commerce and higher eduaction institutions.

The conference consolidates as a strategic forum for discussion on public interest topics, aiming to share best policy practices, establish new partnerships and empower people in municipalities and cities.

International and Regional Missions

Our International missions connect leaders from the Americas with other continents, adopting a global vision in order to exchange best practices, spark collaboration, and deepen systemic reform.

In addition, our Regional programs strengthen connections across the Americas, fostering the exchange of best practices, encouraging cross-border collaboration within the region, and advancing meaningful transformations in shared regional challenges and opportunities.

Post Doctoral and Post Graduate Institute

The Postdoctoral and Post-Master Program on Applied Research is an international academic initiative developed by the University of New Mexico in collaboration with the International Institute for Higher Education (II-HE) and the Americas Conference of Mayors.

Designed for senior professionals, researchers, and academic leaders, the program strengthens applied research capacities and fosters high-level collaboration, bridging public policy, government, and higher education.
